On my daily search for the one I can't live without.
Sometimes I find Him in my music, dance or poem.
But mostly I find Him in Me.
He whispers truth that soothes my soul.
quiets my trouble thoughts.
He rides my emotional roller coaster.
assures me of my divine perfection.
i am because He is.
He is & was before I was.
but He holds my hand,
calls me friend, daughter, mom, lover
created by the creator as speaker & carrier of new life
the one that sustains my life
